I am a 21 year old currently living in an 8 person student house whilst I attempt to complete my studies at the University of York. As of the beginning of 2025, I am halfway through my second year, studying Interactive Media.

The jobs I had and the subjects I studied before coming to Uni had little to do with programming, but since starting my degree I have expanded my skills to incorporate learning languages like JavaScript, C#, HTML, and CSS. I have also learnt how to plan out a project to meet the criteria set, and working with my coursemates to create events and medias.

Born in the Yorkshire Dales and raised in the Peak District, I have a strong connection to meadows, trees, and hills. Add a mug of hot chocolate and a wood burning stove and it makes perfect sense that I both play and aspire to create cosy media. However, I also have a strong sense of adventure in my life, with impulsive decisions meaning I end up on the wrong side of a lake, alone in a 2 person canoe, or walking long into the night simply because I want to know what lies on the other side of the hill. This drive is what makes me a perfectionist, always trying to polish the details or get every single achievement in Stardew Valley. I also enjoy problem-solving, meaning that even if those impulsive decisions I make weren't the best idea, I can usually always make the most of it!
